Yes, the constitution was "built" off of people saving money, but the growth and expanision of the past 40 years in this nation has been unconstitutional. There is no gold standard. The constitution only provides for money to be gold and silver coin, not paper dollars that aren't backed by anything. Do you know what the? Federal Reserve is? How about Bretton Woods?
